9:00 AM – Tuk Tuk Tour Begins
Your tuk tuk driver picks you up from the hotel.

Stop 1: Negombo Fish Market (Lellama)
Experience the lively fish auction and see traditional catamarans.
Stop 2: St. Mary’s Church
Marvel at the beautiful ceiling murals and architecture.
Stop 3: Angurukaramulla Temple
Visit this vibrant Buddhist temple with its giant Buddha statue and ancient murals.
Stop 4: Dutch Fort & Dutch Canal
See the old fort (now part of the prison) and stroll along the historic canal.
Stop 5: Local Market or Spice Shop
Browse for spices, handicrafts, or fresh produce.

12:00 PM – Return to Hotel or Beachfront Restaurant
Have lunch at your hotel or try a nearby seafood restaurant on Lewis Place.

Afternoon

2:00 PM – Relaxation Time
Enjoy the hotel pool, spa, or a walk on the beach.

3:30 PM – Lagoon/River Cruise
Transfer to the jetty for your Negombo Lagoon cruise (most cruises last 1.5–2 hours).

Glide through mangroves and spot local wildlife (birds, water monitors, maybe monkeys).
See traditional fishing methods and local villages.
Option for a sunset cruise if you prefer a later start (around 5:00 PM).

Evening

6:00 PM – Return to Hotel
